Starting with our Reader’s Poll, we’re looking back on 2011 with a series of top 10’s that will cover everything from album covers to music videos, from favorite 7“‘s to favorite LPs, so check back and see what our staff has to say as we make our way to the new year. 

Like every other music geek, I make a “Top 10 Records of The Year” list every year, but my favorite records of the year are not always my most listened to during that year. With that in mind, here are the records I spent the most time with in 2011.

1. The Intelligence - Males (In the Red Records, 2010)

So I missed this record in 2010. Why? I guess I was too busy listening to Fake Surfers… I now write every school paper to this record, and I write a lot.
